About me

I’m a postdoctoral scientist at the Digital Humanities Laboratory, the Time Machine Organization and the Urban Sociology Laboratory, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne. For the Parcels of Venice project, I’m digitizing historic maps and documents. For the 3DBigDataSpace project, I’m coordinating local time machines. For the Difference-Oriented Urban Planning project, I’m visualizing mobility data.

Currently, I’m the vice-chair of the ICA commission on GeoAI.

Before I worked as a doctoral student and research assistant at the Institute of Cartography and Geoinformation, ETH Zurich. My dissertation was about Storytelling with Animated Interactive Objects in Real-time 3D Maps and I was a developer for the Atlas of Switzerland.

During my studies, I obtained a Master and Bachelor degree in Geoinformatics at the University of Münster.
