About me

I’m the vice-chair of the ICA commission on GeoAI and editing a book currently.

I worked as a postdoctoral scientist at the Digital Humanities Laboratory, the Time Machine Organization and the Urban Sociology Laboratory, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne. For the Parcels of Venice project, I digitized historic maps and documents. For the 3DBigDataSpace project, I coordinated the Synergy Grants Program. For the Difference-Oriented Urban Planning project, I visualized mobility data.

Before I worked as a doctoral student and research assistant at the Institute of Cartography and Geoinformation, ETH Zurich. My dissertation was about Storytelling with Animated Interactive Objects in Real-time 3D Maps and I was a developer for the Atlas of Switzerland.

During my studies, I obtained a Master and Bachelor degree in Geoinformatics at the University of Münster.
